RESEARCH BACKGROUND 
1.     Electronic structure of the strongly correlated systems, including high temperature superconductivity (iron-based superconductors) and charge density waves. (ARPES) 
2.     Electronic structure of the novel quantum materials, including topological insulators, topological semimetals and materials with extremely large magnetoresistance. (ARPES) 
3.     Single crystal growth and characterizations of their transport properties (resistivity, magnetic susptibility, heat capacity, ect.). 
4.     Picoscale engineering of correlated advanced materials by oxide molecular beam epitaxy (OMBE). 
5.     Soft X-ray scattering on magnetic oxide materials.
